Initial Appearance
Initial appearances are conducted Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), via video court. The inmate is not physically in their court of record but instead appears before the judge via video stream from the Yuma County Detention Center’s Video Court Room.Video Court Schedule

An inmate ordered released from custody after a video court hearing will be processed upon receipt of the release order from the court of record.
Inmates scheduled for release from custody will be processed and released within a reasonable amount of time, barring any unforeseen events, security procedures or emergencies within the facility.
NOTE: Initial appearances scheduled on weekends or holidays are held at the Detention Center in the Video Court Room before a judge who is physically present in the room.
