Burglary per Domestic Violence
Location of Incident: 23000 Block of County 12 ¼ E, Wellton, AZ
On February 9, 2013 at approximately 2222 hours, deputies responded to the 23000 Block of County 12 ¼ E, Wellton, AZ due to a report of 69 year old Mr. Larry Noll threatening the victim with bodily harm and attempting to gain entry into his ex-wife’s residence with a shotgun. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted Mr. Noll, who was intoxicated, on the front porch, and armed with a short-double-barreled shotgun. Deputies convinced Mr. Noll to place the shotgun down at his side. With the assistance of United States Border Patrol Agents, the suspect was taken into custody after Deputies deployed a Taser. Mr. Noll resisted arrest. During the struggle, the loaded 12 gauge shotgun was unintentianly discharged. The shotgun was not equipped with a trigger guard and most likely caught on an unknown item. No one was harmed during this incident. A records check revealed Mr. Noll to be a prohibited firearms possesor.
Larry Noll was arrested and booked for Burglary in the 1st Degree, various Weapons Offenses and multiple Domestic Violence charges. He is currently being held in the Yuma County Detention Center with a bond of $91,587.90.
