Vehicle Burglary Suspect

 

Location of Incident: 2500 block of South Mary Avenue - Yuma, AZ


On April 23, 2014, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Yuma County Sheriff’s Office Investigators served a search warrant in the 2500 block of South Mary Avenue. Investigators were able to identify the suspect and his residence through leads and evidence found at one of the crime scenes. Upon arrival, Investigators located the suspect and multiple items that had been stolen from vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Foothills area and possibly other areas throughout Yuma County.

The suspect, Anthony Jeffrey Mendoza,19 years old of Yuma, was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Adult Detention Center for multiple charges of burglary, theft and burglary tools, all felony charges.
