Criminal History Record Check
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a criminal history record check upon request. You can only request a criminal history record check on yourself and it will only include contact you have had with the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office within the last ten (10) years, unless otherwise specified in your request.
To request a criminal history record check, you must complete and submit a “Local Record Check" form along with picture identification. If you are submitting your request via U.S. mail, you will need to include a certified copy of your picture identification along with the "Local Record Check" form.
If you require a notarized "Letter of No Record", please indicate this by checking the appropriate box on the form. There is no charge for the general record check or the notarized letter of no record.
Generally, the criminal history record check and/or Letter of No Record will be completed within seventy-two (72) business hours from the time your request was received at the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office. However, a customer service member from our Records Department will contact you when your request has been completed and is ready for pick up or to notify you that it has been mailed to you.
Picture identification will be required at the time of request and pick up.
