Notice is herey given that Yuma County Jail District is accepting Statements of Qualifications from interested Design-Build teams for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, design and construction services, permits, fees, and taxes necessary to complete Project Number #23-200-07b, Adult Detention Center Smoke Control Repair and Upgrade project, as described in the Scope of Work. Request for Qualifications (RFQ) may be obtained from the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office web site at: https://www.yumacountysheriff.org/news-notices.htm
Respondents shall submit one (1) original and seven (7) copies of your firm’s proposal & one (1) electronic copy (thumb drive PDF) with all required documents, in a sealed envelope & shall be either mailed or hand-delivered to Yuma County Administration 197 S. Main Street, Yuma, Arizona, 85364. Proposals must be received by the County no later than 3:00 p.m. (local time) on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. All proposals will be opened and reviewed immediately after the closing. Any proposal received after that time will not be opened or considered and will be returned to the proposer. All submittals shall be clearly marked "Statement of Qualifications for Design-Build Construction Services, Yuma County Sheriff’s Office Jail District, Adult Detention Center Smoke Control Repair & Upgrade Project, Solicitation #23-200-07b” on the outside of all packaging material.
A Pre-Submittal Conference is scheduled for September 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (local time). The pre-submittal conference will be made available in-person and via MS Teams. Attendance by interested parties is strongly encouraged but is not mandatory. Immediately following the pre-submittal conference, the Sheriff’s Office will offer an escorted tour of the project site. Attendance for the site visit will be strictly limited to 2 people per firm or company. Individuals interested in participating in the site tour must obtain a security clearance in advance. Presubmittal conference and security clearance information can be found in the RFQ.

Yuma County Board of Supervisors is not responsible for proposal information based on information received from entities other than the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office and it’s Owner’s Representative. The proposer is responsible for obtaining correct and complete proposal or proposal documents.
The Yuma County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive any informality in a proposal. No submitter may withdraw his proposal for a period of 120 days after opening and reading of the proposals.
