Notary Public Sevices
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office provides notary public services to the public at two locations as follows:
Monday thru Friday
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Excluding holidays
Notary Public Fees
The notary public fee is $2.00 per signature.
Pursuant to the Arizona Revised Statutes 41-316 and the Arizona Administrative Code Rules R2-12-1102.
Types of Payment Accepted
Below are the various types of payments that are accepted at the YCSO Main Office and the Foothills Substation:
- YCSO Main Office: Cash, personal check, money order, cashier’s check, and credit/debit card. NOTE: Credit/debit card (Visa/MasterCard only) payments are accepted; however, there is a convenience fee which varies depending on the amount charged and credit/debit card used. We do not accept American Express.
- Foothills Substation: Cash, personal check, money order, and cashier’s check.
Checks or money orders should be made payable to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office.
Picture identification is required.
Acceptable Forms of ID: Valid driver’s license or state ID card, passport, military ID or other official government forms of ID. Individuals under the age of sixteen may use a state ID card or school ID card.
