The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office provides notary public services to the public as follows:

Monday thru Friday
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Excluding holidays

Effective August 3, 2026, notary services will be temporarily unavailable at the Foothills Substation until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to restore services as soon as possible.

Notary Fees

The notary public fee is $2.00 per signature.
Pursuant to the Arizona Revised Statutes 41-316 and the Arizona Administrative Code Rules R2-12-1102.

Types of Payment Accepted:
Below are the various types of payments that are accepted at the YCSO Main Office:
  • Cash
  • Personal check
  • Money order
  • Cashier ’s check
  • Credit/debit card. NOTE: Credit/debit card (Visa/MasterCard only) payments are accepted; however, there is a convenience fee which varies depending on the amount charged and credit/debit card used. We do not accept American Express.

Checks or money orders should be made payable to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office.

Picture identification is required.

Acceptable Forms of ID: Valid driver’s license or state ID card, passport, military ID or other official government forms of ID. Individuals under the age of sixteen may use a state ID card.
