As of April 1, 2007, Trinity Services Group, Inc. (formerly Canteen Correctional Services), a division of Compass Group USA INC., began the professional management of the Jail District Food Service contract for the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office. Trinity Services Group has provided quality service for the Corrections industry for over 35 years. Trinity’s commitment to Yuma County and to the inmates incarcerated in the Yuma County Detention Center is to deliver quality service programs, which includes good food, properly trained staff, fiscal responsibility, and efficient response while maintaining safety and security.

From January to December 2024, they provided a total of 480,137 meals, with a total cost of $729,840.00. Of this total, 14,969 meals were provided under contract to the Yuma County Juvenile Detention Center. By necessity, everything is purchased in volume and cooked in volume.

In 2024, the average number of meals prepared per day was 1,268 adult meals and 44 juvenile meals. The average cost per meal during 2024 was $1.52.
